Furniture Design
Sometimes at the Studio, we like to design objects that can be manufactured locally by trusted manufacturers, in small batches. This is always fun and an opportunity to test new software, design thinking and educate ourselves regarding new manufacturing methods and materials. The small collection of low and tall stools and side tables was a quick design project using locally sourced sustainable timber, cork fittings (instead of nylon) and industrial steel section. The range will hopefully grow organically when time allows as we continue to further develop more new and interesting objects.
