John Lewis & Partners wanted Modern Rarity, its own premium women’s label, to act as a standalone brand (rather than an own brand), showcasing quality and timeless style. To achieve this, we created a design aesthetic that echoed the premium brand’s DNA, taking influence from classic modernism and wrapping it in a palette of rich materials.
