Menswear Pavilion
Interiors & Architecture, Signage & Environmental Graphics, Exhibition Design
The Menswear Pavilion was designed for the John Lewis & Partners flagship Oxford Street store as part of the redesign of the ground floor. The structure was to form a focal point at the rear of the store, driving footfall into the area to encourage better menswear sales. John Lewis wanted to use the space to engage customers with own-brand stories as well as external brands, promotions and seasonal marketing. Throughout the planning, we had to be mindful of the pavilion’s location, a main circulation point near the rear exit, lifts and main tills. Within the pavilion, large-format digital screens and directional sound helped align brands and advertising, alongside physical displays and stock. This flexible space was also designed to host events, talks, promotions and product launches.
